MANTA, The most important sea port of the Manabi province and the second most important of the country, It is the city that has greatly increased the amount of hotels in the area. The international cruisers usually stop in Manta; the cruisers go along the coast of the Pacific and the Caribbean.
BAHIA DE CARAQUEZ, Known as the door and cradle of the Ecuadorian Nationality. It is located 25 minutes from Crucita. It’s a very attractive city having an important hotel infrastructure for tourists; it has a modern architecture that mingles the glamour with the old city. Bahia de Caraquez was declared in 1999 as the “Ecological City”, its landscapes, a mixture of sun, sand, sea and mountains that surround it. It is without doubt the most secure city in Ecuador.
PORTOVIEJO, Called the city of "Los Reales Tamarindos", because there are tamarind trees in many parts of the city. MONTECRISTI, The most important artesian city of the zone located 15 minutes from Crucita. It was founded by the people of Manta during the Spanish conquest as a refuge to protect their lives. Montecristi is known all over the world for the straw hats wrongly called “Panama Hat”.
NATIONAL PARK OF MACHALILLA, having unexploited beaches and white sand. This is a reservoir of fauna and flora similar to those existing in Galapagos. It is situated 45 minutes from Crucita passing through Jipijapa toward Puerto Lopez, a coastal town where the Isla de la Plata is located, and which name comes from the luminosity of the mountains in contact with the sunlight.
